Mom got her house done. New livingroom and carpet. they found some rotten floors that had to be replaced. They just got the carpet done yesterday.

Well mom's living room is about done. They painted it today and we took her to Springfield to look at carpet. She picked some out and hopefully it will get installed pretty quick.

The kids, Jeff, Connie and I are doing fine. I just continue with therapy on my shoulder. It is going pretty good.

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since i last updated everyone. Things around here are going fine.

Mom is having her living room resheetrocked and painted, so things around her house are kind of messy.

The girls are doing fine. The kids cant seem to get full weeks of school in. We now have had 5 days of ice in the past 2 weeks. It goes from 20 degrees to 60 the next day.

Connie, our kids and I are doing fine.

I spoke to John David last week and he may be moving back to either Jefferson City, Mo or Popular Bluff, Mo. He has several job offers and is really wanting to move back from China.

Hello Everyone,

Well I think winter showed up again this morning. We have an ice storm in progress now. So far this morning we have had almost a half inch of ice and it is still coming down.

Everyone here is doing a good as can be expected. Mom is getting around a little better each day.

Good Morning,

Well our big snow storm turned out not to be. We received only about 4 inches.

Talked to mom this morning and everything is doing fine. Susie and her two kids came down with Adam Saturday. Jeff went to some sporting event in Hawaii.

Everyone else is doing fine. We just seem to keeping doing the same thing day in and day out.

Well January has came and almost gone. It was a fast month. Everyone in Marshfield is doing fine. Connie and the kids are doing well.

Mom went to Springfield this past Sunday with Carolyn. She went and visite Ola Grace (her sister) and then Carolyn took her to Cracker Barrel to eat. She had a pretty good time.

Today started off at 61 degrees at 11:00 am at 1230 pm it was 20 degrees and light snow.

Well things have settled down quite a bit the past several days. Brandi started her second semester at college, great 7 more to go. Connie and I are doing fine. My therapy is going pretty good at home. The shoulder is begining to have more pain but I think that is because of the therapy.

Everyone else is doing fine here in Marshfield.

Tornado Update
Well the storms finally moved on. We where under tornado warnings until 4 am. We had 8 different tornado warnings from 6 pm on the 7th until 4 am on the 8th. We had 76 mph winds at 3 am. Most damage in Marshfield was on the North side of town and also north of I 44. The damage started across the highway from our house and went north, northeast. We also had almost 8 inches of rain in that time frame. Everyone everyone is safe.

Update - Tornado Night
Everyone in the family is fine. We have had 2 tornado hit Marshfield tonight. Most of the major damage was on the north side of town. Taco Bell, BP, Wal Mart Supercenter. Alot of lost homes. Major gas spill at BP. So far 1 person died and one is missing. We have been in our shelter since 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. More to follow.

Hello Everyone,

The holiday season is finally over. I hope everyone had a safe holiday season. So far not much new has gone here in Marshfield. My physical therapy is going pretty good. The pain is not nearly as bad as expected. I am doing home physical therapy 3 times per day, using pullies and some other excerises. I am still not moving arm out to the side or backwards yet.

Connie, Joshua, Brandi and Jeff are doing fine and so is everyone else I guess.

Update

12-30-2007 - Brandi received her fall semester grades. She has four A's and a 4.0 gpa.

Joshua had a visitor at his job yesterday. He helped Jim Stafford and his wife. Josh got his autograph and thought that was pretty cool.

12-29-2007 - Connie and I went and saw National Treasure Book of Secrets last weekend. We did not see the first of the series however they said this one was not as good. But i thought it was an excellent movie. Normally I am not into these types of movies but i really enjoyed it. This weekend i am going to watch the first one.

Everything else around here is going as well as can be expected. I started my home physical therapy and thank goodness for pain pills. We have finally got back to a some what normal life and that is good. More later. EVERYONE PLEASE HAVE A SAFE NEW YEAR.

Update

12-28-2007 - Surgery went as well as could be expected. They removed a large amont of bone spurs from under the collerbone and shouler area. They also repaired two tendons. Was sick the first night so they kept me an extra night. All my rehab will be done at home the first 10 days then we will see.

The Fender family Christmas will be this Sunday the 30th at Vicki and Pat Wand's at 3:00 pm.

Family Update

12-25-2007 - Christmas has finally come and is almost gone. Tomarrow brings Michael surgery at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Mo. The time was changed from 10:00 am to 8:30 am. Dr. Walz is going to remove some bone off of right shoulder and repair rotor cuff on right shoulder. He also going to remove several deep cyst and another tumor just below the shoulder on the right shoulder. Everyone is doing fine. Mom is getting better each day. Jeanne will be arriving on December 27th and is moving to Eugene, OR for a new job at University of Oregon Hospital. Susie is doing fine and still working at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. Carolyn and family went to Randy's parents in Oaklahoma today. Carolyn is working at Smith-Glynn-Calloway Clinic in Springfield, Mo. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is going to have a safe New Year.
